All about village walks in the himalayas

Most travelers say, that there is no better way to experience the Himalayas and the unspoilt villages of the Kumaon region (located about 350 kms north of New Delhi), than by walking through them, and getting a chance to interact with the villagers , by getting a chance to exchange stories with elderly village residents , and perhaps having a cup of “chai” in the village market place. Our Village Walks in the Himalayas , give you the opportunity to do all of this. While on the Village Walks , you will stay in traditional village houses, that have been slightly upgraded , with the addition of western style private facilities, and modern comfortable beds. But, other than that, the Village Houses retain their original character, authenticity and ambience. Our 8 day Himalayan Village Walk experience , also gives you an opportunity to get up and close to the Himalayas, without having to do any ardous trekking --- these Himalayan village walks are suitable for all ages, and only require moderate levels of fitness.
