  1. Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Your Tiger Safari, Taj Mahal And Goa Tour begins with your arrival at Delhi International Airport. The Indian capital Delhi is a city of amazements. The home to almost 17 million, heritage sites, forts, monuments, and other marvels, the city is a near-perfect blend of the ancient and the modern. Delhi consists of two parts Old & New Delhi, with something for everyone. From forts and monuments that are almost 500 years old to modern shopping malls, nightclubs and golf courses, Delhi truly is India's crown jewel. Upon clearing Customs and Immigration, you are met by our representative who will present you with a welcome pack including all necessary documentation and arrange your transfer to The Claridges Hotel for check-in. No activity is scheduled today since most of the International flights arrive in India close to midnight only. Located in the heart of the city, The Claridges has been a landmark in Lutyens Delhi since the 1950s. Set on 3 acres of land, the hotel is a low-rise building with only three floors. It is within close proximity of the business district, ministries, diplomatic missions, shopping & cultural centers and historical landmarks. The Hotel's facilities include a Swimming Pool, Health Club, and several Bars and Restaurants. Overnight in Delhi.

  2. Day 2 In Delhi

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Later, this morning you are collected from your hotel for a full-day sightseeing excursion of Old and New Delhi. The tour of the 17th-century old city starts from the red-sandstone, Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Move on to the great mosque of Jama Masjid, a marvel of architecture. Later, proceed to the main street of Old Delhi, the colorful shopping bazaar known as Chandni Chowk ("Moonlit Street"). Pay a visit to the Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. The tour of New Delhi includes the Humayun's Tomb, the precursor of the Taj Mahal, also listed as a World Heritage Site. Drive down the spectacular Rajpath ("the Kingsway,") passing the India Gate (the memorial built to commemorate the unknown soldiers), the President's House, and the House of Parliament. Before the day comes to an end, marvel at the Qutub Minar-the tallest brick minaret in the world, also a World Heritage Site. Overnight in Delhi.

  3. Day 3 Fly Delhi - Jabalpur & drive to Bandhavgarh (220 kms/ 05 hrs)

This morning you will be met by our representative and will be escorted from your hotel to the Delhi airport to board your flight for Jabalpur. You will be met by our representative upon arrival at the Jabalpur airport and will be driven to your lodge near Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh National Park, situated in the Central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, has established a reputation as one of the best places in India to observe Tigers. The 105 square kilometers of park area, open for tourists is well-know for tiger sighting and is reported to have over 59 tigers. Like many Tiger reserves in India, the area was formerly the hunting reserve of a Maharaja and contains much evidence of its royal associations, most spectacular being the ruins of a huge hilltop fort which dominates the center of the reserve. The ancient natural fort towers to an impressive 800 meters above the forest. The Bandhavgarh Fort is definitely worth a visit. The Sal Forest which predominates in the Park also has mixed forests at the higher elevations in the hills and there are also expanses of grassland and bamboo in the north. Bandhavgarh being an arid region, water is always attractive to wildlife and the presence of pools and streams in the reserve is one of the reasons it is so favored by both game and predators. Although Tigers are the star attraction at Bandhavgarh the list of other mammals and birds that have made Bandhavgarh their home, is very impressive too. The list of birds includes such species as Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, Plum-headed Parakeet, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, and Asian Paradise Flycatcher among a total of over 250 species recorded in the district. Tigers and the more rarely seen Leopards have no shortage of prey in the Chital reserve. The Spotted Deer or Chital is a favorite item on the Tiger menu and several thousand of these delightful deer inhabit the park. Other species found here in varying abundance include; Chinkara, Chowsinga, Wild Boar, Sambar, Muntjac and Nilgai. The Asian Bison or Gaur last sighted as a small herd in 1998, the animal is now conspicuous by its absence since. A closely monitored program of the reintroduction of the Gaur is planned within couple of years. A hunting pack of wild dogs may also be seen on occasion. Mammal sightings always require a degree of luck, particularly when the species is essentially nocturnal or reclusive but each outing in the reserve will at least provide a chance to meet one of the rarer inhabitants such as Sloth Bear, Indian fox, Jackal, Wolf, Ratel, Striped Hyenas, Jungle Cat or Indian Pangolin. More predictable are the sounders of Wild Boar rooting among the vegetation, Indian Hares, the lively little Palm Squirrels which seem to be constantly in a state of agitation, and several members of the mongoose tribe. Common Langurs and Rhesus Macaques are also plentiful, the former enjoying an elevated view of the forest as they devour their favorite leaves and often the first creature to bark out a warning at the appearance of a Tiger below. Upon arrival in Bandhavgarh, check in to the Bandhav Vilas. The Bandhav Vilas is a resplendent luxury resort in the lush beauty of Bandhavgarh. Savor the picturesque views of the Vindhya Hills and the natural beauty of the wild. The charming luxury villas are furnished with contemporary interiors with traditional touches. The 20 gracefully-appointed villas are spread over 1000 sq. feet area. All villas have a bedroom, spacious en-suite bathroom, private sit out, a dressing area, a private courtyard with a rain shower and a private deck. Amenities include air-conditioning with color television, mini bar, safe, tea coffee maker, telephone, Wi-Fi internet connectivity, hairdryer & a bicycle. 6. Day 6 Arrive Agra

"The Land of Taj" was once the capital of the Mughal Empire and even today it seems to linger in the past. Not surprising, for the Mughal emperors with their passion for building, endowed the city with some of the finest structures in the world. Agra is an ancient city. It is said that its name was derived from Agrabana, a forest that finds mention in the epic Mahabharata. With passage of time Agra came into the possession of the Mughals. It was during the time of the third emperor "Akbar" that Agra came into its own and later on his grandson "Shah Jehan" ornamented the city with that masterpiece of Mughal architecture - The Taj Mahal. Upon arrival at Agra railway station you will be met and escorted for check-in to Hotel Trident. The Trident Agra is set amidst beautiful gardens and is only a few minutes' walk away from the famous Taj Mahal. The hotel is built of the red stone reminiscent of the Mughal era, designed around a landscaped central courtyard with swimming pool and fountains. All rooms are centrally air-conditioned and equipped with modern facilities like a mini-bar, complimentary tea and coffee making facility, direct dial telephone, data port connectivity, television set with satellite transmission and a personal safe. The hotel features an informal, poolside brasserie and a Bar. The restaurant serves an extensive buffet and a choice of Continental and Indian cuisine. Later, you will be collected for the city tour of Agra. Start with a visit to the red-sandstone Agra Fort, the seat of the Mughal dynasty in the 16th century. Nestled at the bend of the River Yamuna, it is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India. The Mughal Emperor Akbar built it as his citadel over the years of 1565-1573. At sunset, visit The Taj Mahal - a poem, a feeling of love, in white marble, is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles. One of the 'Seven Wonders of the World' this UNESCO World Heritage Site has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Overnight in Agra.

  7. Day 7 Drive Agra - Delhi & Fly to Goa

This morning, you drive to Delhi airport (220 kms/ 04 hrs), visiting Fatehpur Sikri en-route. The UNESCO listed world heritage site is often called the ghost city as it was mysteriously abandoned after 13 years of its founding. It was built by Akbar the Great in the 16th century to serve as the capital of his vast empire, Later, continue your drive to Delhi airport (220 kms/ 04 hrs) in time to board flight for Goa. India's most famous beach getaway of Goa is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea, in Western India. Ruled by the Portuguese till 1961, Goa still retains its Indo-Portuguese character visible amongst its architecture as well as its people. The high points of Goa are it's silver sands, sparkling blue waters, the sky mirroring the sea below, white churches resting against green paddy fields and coconut trees lining the coastal streets. Tourists inevitably come to Goa only for its sandy beaches, but experienced travelers say that the beaches are only a part of the attraction of Goa. Goa has 500-year-old churches, forts and temples, trekking routes, waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries and even spice plantations that are worth visiting. The allure of Goa is that it remains quite distinct from the rest of India and is small enough to be grasped and explored in a way that other Indian states are not. Goa's tourism byline of "Goa - 365 days on Holiday" is absolutely true. You will be met by our representative upon arrival at the Goa airport and will be transferred to the Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa. Set in almost 50 acres of lush green landscaped gardens, facing the Arabian Sea, the Taj Holiday Village is perhaps North Goa's best accommodation option. Accommodation at the Taj Holiday Village is in cottages, that could be stand-alone, or set in clusters of two or four cottages/villas. The resort shares its facilities with the next door Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, and between the two, they offer almost a dozen bars and restaurants. Leisure facilities here include a swimming pool, spa, fitness center, tennis courts, indoor badminton, etc. Overnight in Goa.
